Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often.

Straight answers on what we build, how engagements work, and how we handle pricing, delivery and support.

What does Pinetree Deployments build?

We design and develop custom ecommerce platforms, B2B customer portals, operational and CRM-style systems, API integrations, workflow automation and cloud software. In short, bespoke B2B software built around how a business actually works.

Who do you work with?

We work primarily with businesses and organisations rather than consumers. We are not a consumer marketplace, and we build software for B2B operations that have outgrown standard tools.

Do you sell an off-the-shelf ecommerce package?

No. Engagements are scoped according to each client's requirements. The capabilities and solution patterns on this site are representative — they are not a promise that every project contains every module. The right scope is defined through discovery.

How are projects priced?

Projects are individually quoted in GBP. Depending on the written agreement, work may be fixed-scope, phased, milestone-based, retained, or subscription-based where applicable. We do not publish fixed prices, because the right price depends on the scope.

When is payment required?

Payment timing is defined in the proposal, order form or service agreement. It may include deposits, milestone payments, monthly retainers or recurring charges where applicable. Nothing is due before it is agreed in writing.

How is the software delivered?

Our services and deliverables are digital and normally delivered remotely — through agreed staging and deployment, repository access, documentation or cloud access. We work with clients across the UK without needing to meet in person.

Do you sell or ship physical products?

No. We provide software services only. Physical shipping and physical-product returns do not apply to our work.

Can a project be cancelled?

Cancellation depends on the signed proposal or service agreement, including any notice period. Work already completed remains chargeable. Our cancellation and refund policy explains how this is handled.

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes, where it is documented in the agreed scope. Maintenance and support can be included, with the support channels and service levels set out in writing. We do not provide 24/7 support unless it is separately contracted.

Can you integrate payment, accounting or fulfilment providers?

We can build technical connections to approved third-party services such as payment, accounting, fulfilment, communications and analytics providers. Those services remain subject to their own terms, availability, onboarding and approval. We build the integration; we are not the provider of those services.

Does this website store payment-card details?

No. This corporate website does not collect or store payment-card details, and it does not offer an anonymous public checkout.

Do you guarantee a particular commercial result?

We commit to the agreed deliverables and to professional engineering work. We do not guarantee revenue, provider approval or a particular business outcome, and we are cautious of anyone who does.

How can I contact you?

Use the contact form on this website — it is the route for all new enquiries. Existing clients should continue to use the support route provided in their service agreement.
